Vienna International Children's Film Festival

The 29th Vienna International Children's Film Festival will be held from November 11 to November 30, 2017.

International competition:

There will be three festival awards:

  • Price of the Children's Jury
  • Audience Award
  • UNICEF-Price

The Vienna International Children's Film Festival presents international productions or co-productions of great artistic merit, intended specifically for children and young people.

All submitted films will be pre-screened by the selection committee. The committee is responsible for the official program. Films produced in 2016 and after are eligible for the festival. The films will be screened in digital format (DCP), and in their original version (with German voice over).

A DVD and a dialogue-list in English, French or German are required. Excerpts (not to exceed five minutes) from films in competition are required to be used in any television broadcast produced in connection with the festival.
